Ah yes Peter, striper fishing can be hard work for a hobby that is supposed to be fun, be it day or nighttime fishing. Funny you mention a "secret" weapon. When pulling out of Bailey's(Barren) the other night, 3 guys on the bank were catching alewives and using them as bait. They caught 3 hybrids just in the time we loaded the boat. Almost unbelievable.
