    Hey guys,

I have the DMT early bird tournament there this Saturday coming up. Any help would be much appreciated. Only second time I have been on this lake.

First time I was only 13 yrs. old so, that has been over 20 years ago.

    P.M. me if you like.

    Thanks in Advance: NKY TRITON

NKY Triton All I can really tell you is if the weather is rough try to find a cove to hide in the main lake is brutal in the wind. I had most of my luck useing 8 to 10 ft. crankbaits bouncing them of the bottom parrallel to the shore line. Brushhogs and jigs usually work well around brush and laydowns. Brookville is a hard lake to pin down you'll just have to jump around untill you find what they want. You'll catch alot of 13'' fish till you find a keeper. The water last week was in the high fifties and mostly 4 to 5ft clarity. Start off raking points from every angle and work your way around. Good luck it's a tough lake...

    Re: Brookville Report 4/14

I had 4 good keepers that weighed 7.88. Caught them on top water. The weather was perfect for that.

Should have won it or at least got into 2nd. My partner and I had a few good ones get off. It took 11.74 to win it. I think second was right at 10 lbs.

Found one cove that was full of buckbass but, the Sow's hadn't moved up yet. I caught 12 fish out of it only one keeper and had to measure the rest.

It's one of those deals when you figure something out and it's just too late to fully apply it.

    Always next time though.

    Thanks for the help guys.
