I'm getting ready to leave Cumberland for a 30 trip overseas. I've been on the water for most of the year, staying on the houseboat. While fishing has been good most of the spring. The last few day have been "off the chain"
The surface temp today was 68. As far as I can tell, the fish are not yet bedding. I fished from 3:00 pm to 6:15 pm and caught 28 green heads. While none were big fish but I got more than a limit of keepers
I caught every fish on topwater prop baits during the heat of the under blue bird skies. I fished Indian Creek and no matter where I went, I caught fish. I must have had nearly 100 bites. It's been a long time since I had this much fun!
Pack your crap and get in the truck cause IT"S ON!!!!
