nice job man! i was up at lake celina today and caught a couple over 4...strange thing was, they were females that had already spawned! usually don't catch females from the deeps for a while after the spawn. i know that place will get hit hard tomorrow, and there were several bass around 5-7 pounds that were roaming the shallows getting ready to spawn. just couldn't get them to bite....i **** at spawn fishing!

I thought I saw some big girls roaming the shallows too but I wasn't sure. I was battling wind and rather large waves which made it tough to see. A older guy I had never seen came up to my boat and asked if I'd follow him in. He was in a 8' Jon that took on some water. It was rough.

I have an old 16' jon and wouldn't take it out on a day like today. I only have a trollin motor and anchor. It woulda been too tough keeping in one spot.
