I fished this weekend in TN and lost a ton of fish on the Red Eye Shad and got to looking at my hooks and they have almost no barb. They are sharp but have no holding power. What are the best replacement treble hooks out on the market? I also don't know what sizes I would need for specifically Bandit 200 series and Strike King Red Eye Shad 1/2 oz. Thanks in advanced for the help!!

I prefer Owner Trebles - as far as sizes go, take a hook off of your bandit 200 and your 1/2 ounce red eye shad and take it with you to whatever store you go to and match them up.
On bandit 300's I used to replace the hooks with one size bigger owner hooks and the fish seemed to not come off as easily. I done this when I tournament fished alot and it helped.
I started using a medium action rod with a moderate tip and sharply decreased the number of fish I loose on lipless cranks.

Mustad triple grip. I dont have hardly any crankbait/lipless baits but I have a ton of poppers and top water prop baits and they all have triple grips. Plus on top water, if you use slightly bigger hooks, it gives your bait a slightly different profile in the water. Good luck and good fishin.
I replace hooks alot but don't have just one favorite brand. Owner, Gamakatsa, or mustard just know the factory hooks have to been changed if they wouldn't scrape your nail. I just get a bait off the display and take it to the hooks and try to match it. I a little bigger wide cool, just not longer in shank. Can snag more. I usually look at which good name hook is on sale. Hope helps.
The hooks strike king uses is garbage, so are bandits. I change all of mine out of the package to Gamma's. I don't remember the exact size I use, but I use the close to the same size as the ones that come on it. EWG's and round bends both seem to work fine, definitely an improvement over the factory hooks.

I prefer the gamakatsu short shanks, I up size the hook and it doesn't tangle BUT... the vnc/lucky-craft hooks are so sticky it's ridiculous.
The first thing I do to any hard bait but Lucky Craft is change my hooks out with Mustad Triple Grips. I just bought a pack of the KVD's but I haven't tried them yet.
