Whatever happened to the two jacka$$es that got caught about a year ago and had their boat impounded( they won the boat by prolly cheating too)?? People like that should not be allowed to fish for 10 years like Ryan said!!

Glad they caught him. Same thing went on some years back in a local factory tourn. Just some good ol' guys fishing for bragging rights more than anything. A member of the club wanted to "Keep" some fish for his pond so we all thought, no big deal right. Turns out the fish he keep was the same weight as the fish he weighed in the next week Burnside tourn. Then he bought fish from a guy who marked them by cutting the fins and told the Tourn Dir of a Nov. Tourn that was held out of Connley Bottom.
As fishermen, we are bound by a code of ethics. There is no one watching us fish, there is no one to report any fouls we may make. As fishermen, we have to do the right thing, even tho no one is watching. I've always thought if there is money involved, someone will find a way to tilt the outcome. I agree with your thoughts on enforcement to the fullest extent of the law. With that said, the fullest has been served believe it or not. The said individual above has never been seen in a fishing tourn since then. I will also bet that said individual in this case will also not be seen in a tourn. anytime soon.
If your post is accurate, his name will get out as a marked man. A Fishing tourn. can be found just about any weekend on all of our lakes, but as tourn. fishermen, this large group of tourn anglers shrink when we hear of this activity. He may have not been burnt by the law but you can bet he will be "Burnt" by this. There will always be someone out there that remembers the weigh in and the guy in question.
    Just my thoughts and opinion
