Makes me ashamed to be affiliated with this site. What a joke!!!

Read the Discussion Board Rules before you post here again....or you won't be posting anymore here. My thoughts on this issue have nothing to do with my reminder that the rules of this site state you must put up your contact information before making such accusations. This applies to you, me and anyone else.

If you do not like the way the site is being administrated, then I would advise you to send your complaints to [email protected] as stated in the Discussion Board Rules rather than posting your complaints on the boards, which by the way is another violation of the rules as is your slamming of me and the site.

End of Conversation about this on the boards.

So, i will take that as a threat that if I dont agree with the rules that I will be banned. It is sad that I can be threatened on the post, but the real guy that commited a CRIME here is not being prostected. This was not a personal attack to Mr. Stewart, and if perceived as such, I do apologize. It is just so sad that even a sportsman's discussion board is so closely regulated and afraid of lawsuits that we cannot talk about this guy by name. I have fished many local tournaments here is East KY, and am afraid that this pond scum could leak his way over here and try to scam us as well. Had this happened at one of our local ramps, this guy would be praying that a stoning would be the worst thing that happend to him. Everyone would know his name because it would be on the front page of the local paper. But enough about him. This guy was wrong, should have been prosecuted, and instead i am the bad guy for freely posting what I believe. Rules are rules, and this guy violated the most important rule to sportsman/fisherman, and walked away smelling like a rose. Is there no justice, or are they afraid of following the rules, also? And again, Mr. Stewart, if you and some others feel as if I attacked you personaly, Im sorry.

Obviously you did not read the rules....again you have broken the discussion board rules by posting your complaint about the way this site is administated....read the rules, then send your complaints to [email protected] as is stated in the rules. You do not have to agree with the rules here..but you will abide by them. Your new here so I am being lenient but my patience is running thin. Like you said...rules are rules.

I don't think Dave threatened you in any fashion. You obviously have not read the rules of this board or you would not be making such accusations. Dave Stewart is one of the fairest people you will ever meet and he has helped practically everyone who posts on this board at one time or the other and we are all glad he is our friend. If you can't read the rules or you can't understand them maybe you need to give up posting of message boards such as this.

Just because you use a "made up name" to post on boards such as this you cannot make claims against other people and expect to stay "hidden". Anyone who posts on these boards are liable to slander and can have a civil action brought against them even if the facts being outlined have some truth to them. A court order is all it takes to find out who you are and where you are for the sheriff to serve your papers. Plus Fishin.com can also be brought into a civil case for allowing such activity, THIS IS WHY WE HAVE MODERATORS.

As for the story that got this started I would be questioning the hosts of the tournament as to why they let these guys off if they had an ironclad case against them? If they could prove these guys cheated and didn't have them prosecuted then I for one would never again fish a tournament they sponsored. Cheats cannot be allowed to walk if there is evidence enough to warrant a criminal charge.

I used to fish about every tournament I could get to but situatiions such as this dulled my competetive spirit. I have fished this tournament in years past and back then it was wide open for such activities. They finally threatened the fishermen with a lie detector test but I don't think this would have much of an influence to someone hardcore enough to actually carry out an act such as cheating. Bottom line is if there is EVIDENCE and not claims of cheating then the tournament organizers should have called in law enforcement to open a case against these individuals and bring criminal charges. They didn't and if I has fished this tournament I would have been very unhappy no only with the guys accused of cheating but the tournament organizers also. Who knows if they were the only one's who fished this tournament who had fish in a basket???????????? Maybe the others either didn't get caught or they turned in these guys???? Makes you think anyway.

I agree TimT. Some folks don't read into the details, even if they do read the post. That's why we keep seeing the same redundant messages......
