Rough River Report

i went there last week and caught a couple fish. they were short. i was wondering if anybody has been since this cold front has came through. Thought bout going tomaro

Went Saturday, we caught well over 50 bass, all around 13 to 141/2 in, bucks, had one on that would go close to 4 but did not get a good hookset, go into a frenzent up north fork with schoolers chasing shad all small fish but very fun.Did not see any bedding fish but all the pockets we fished had small bucks in them so the mamas are not far behind. We should have targeted deeper water for the biguns but had a blast with the little one. Had several spots over 12in. Caught fish on plastics and cranks, also had a huge crappie on a shad rap. Water was stained to clear, hard to see beds, temps were in the upper 60's. With the full moon coming next week the mamma;s should be bedding full force. Lake is still about 6 to 8 ft low so be careful.

we fished yesterday and caught 12 slot fish and 2 15+ in keepers. one way 6 pounds. 21 in

we fished again yesterday. I had two nice fish get off but caught several fish in the 1-2 pound range. I caught 6 slot fish and 2 15in fish. and two shorts so it wasnt a bad day. My buddies caught 3-4 slot fish apiece to. Its about a 30 mile drive for me but im having to much fun not to make it quite often.
