Somardo Samuels to NBA
This makes some sense to me. If Samuels does not go this year and the NBA locks-out the pro players the year after that, he would have to actually graduate before getting to the NBA. I have read that the lock-out possibilities are the reason so many non-senior players are entering the draft this year. Of the top 18 "ranked" players projected to go in the draft, Patrick Patterson is the only one who has not officially annonced he is entering the draft. Anybody have other thoughts on the subject?

Samardo is about as ready for the NBA as I am. I think he will be checking out his draft status and finding out what coaches and GM's want him to improve on and then he will be back.

From the articles I have read, Teague is going to announce on Thursday afternoon sometime.

Re: Somardo Samuels to NBA
I know some of you guys are faithful UL fans, and I understand standing behind your team and its players. But can any of you honestly say that you think Samuels even has a shot at the NBA? He's just not that good, bottom line. He's soft inside, too small to be a center, can not shoot or rebound well enough to be a forward, I like to give all my UL buddies grief. But this one just makes me laugh.

Re: Somardo Samuels to NBA
My dog would have a better shot at being a NBA player than Samuels, it's quite laughable.
I seen an interview with him once and he actually thinks he is the stuff. The kid is quite full of himself, in fact I feel this is a whole lot of his problem.
I remember one quote and I almost spewed Tea all over our living room.
''When I get the ball down low, I don't think anybody can stop me''.
He actually said that with a straight face, lol. I've seen 5 foot 9 inch guards throw his weak crap down, pleaaaaaaaase, LOL.
