Hey guys...
Was wondering if anyone knew of a taxidermist around the Lexington area that still does a skin mount? Hooked a 4+ on Cedar yesterday and although it was about 1.5 inches short of legal, I must have hit gill on the hookset. Didn't want to eat it but figured she'd make a pretty mount. I know everyone is all about the replica mounts now days but all the mounts in the house are skins and I would like another one. Anybody know?
you should have released it.
Not going to release a floating fish.
Nevermind. Found one.

Admitting to a crime, and by not releasing that undersized fish, you commited a crime, on a very public board is not the smartest of moves.
Under legal limit regardless of the fish disposition is a crime! You can not keep an under limit fish, what part of that is hard to understand.
sitting down with large tub of popcorn and a coke...
Seriously? Can't imagine anyone wanting a short fish on the wall and even if they did, if their house is already full of "skin mounts", wouldn't they know a taxidermist? I'm thinkin' this is just fuel for heated banter . . .
pretty pathetic if you ask me. why someone post something this stupid is beyond me![]()
