When is the best time to be on the water?

I know, some of you are thinking anytime! well I work a job that allows me to take an extra day off every other week. I usually try and take it right before a cold front, but sometimes that doesn't allow me to fish for to long. Sometime the fishing is terrible.
If you could take an extra day off every other week what would help you make your choice?

I would also watch the moon phases--2 days before full moon up to the full moon also day before and after new moon---next full moon is wednesday april 28

I just try to go when they're biting! Seems to work out great most of the time. LOL!

When you're retired, when the artritis allows you. Also tuesday through thursday[not as crowded]OR when ever where ever it strikes your imagination[finances allowing].
