Re: What would you pay for climate controlled fishing????

There is such a indoor lake at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN....there are some BIG fish in there too....only, no fishing. I've been very tempted to take the old fishing buddy with me one time and find a secluded spot.......FISH ON!!!

Rich, in my time of researching you know how many people have informed me of said pond/lake. Each time saying.....dang I wish I could fish it. That's part of the idea....now you can fish something similar. Lol. So, you are not alone. I think the first icconelli you let out when that 6lber jumps on would be a dead give away. Lol

In order to maintain trophy status it would be catch and release. It enables generations to enjoy it.
Hurricane, lol. When it's got hole your rain suit just becomes a plastic shirt.

I know I will not appeal to everyone, but the concensus is good to hear. Thanks for your opinions. It's free marketing testing for a brother.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to better the idea please feel free to speak up. I am in a think tank pattern right now.

I had the same idea several years ago and all my friends laughed at me. I think it would work if you have the cash to make it right to begin with. May not make you rich. I have a special needs kid and I would pay for him and i to fish it. You should give all us fishin.com members a free lifetime membership to get the word out. Good advertising.

    1st of all.....C...A.....R......D.....S....Go cards!

Next, don't ever balk at a dream even if your friends are laughing atcha. I would target the people that need this type if environment. For example, a special needs, handicap, elderly. Folks that can't or don't like to stand the element. Maybe target is the wrong word. How about be able to really cater to them. Real question is how much would you pay for access.

It would be tempting in Jan. but if there were fishermen all around me, and the sounds of people talking from bouncing of the walls and ceilings. Then no thanks, I'd rather freeze my bunns off on KY Lake, at least I would have it to myself. And there is a lot to be said about that.

How much would that cost to build? Can u imagine the electric or gas bills in the winter? It would be a thousand a month wouldn't it? I can't get past that cost in my mind. What do u think u could generate for income in a month?

Re: What would you pay for climate controlled fishing????

That's kinda what I am trying to figure and do the cost vs benefit breakdown. Those few days with dad are exactly what has me thinking of this idea. My Gramps, who got my entire family introduced into the lake life, can't endure what the lake throws at you from time to time. I know his passion still exists, but his hips and back can't take the waves or walking around so much. So my question is one of what's it worth to you and how big of geography am I marketing to. How far would you drive if this is for you.
