Okeechobee will be only a couple house closer then Louisville from where I will be believe it our not! There are some big bass in there though. My buddy is a Fisheries Biologist in central Florida, some big hawgs down there for sure. I must say the river, especially the falls, is one special place. Especially if you are the kind of fisherman that enjoys putting a hook in the water and half of the fun is seeing what species youll bring up! Ive had days where Ive caught everything from sauger to sturgeon out there!
I must admit though, Salt Water fish and fishing is a bit better then fresh water. The fish fight MUCH harder and man there are some really tasty fish out there. The though of fresh caught red snapper sashimi makes my mouth water! Nothing better then catching a fish, putting it on ice, and an hour taking a slice of meat and eating it right there on the boat with a bit of wasabi and soy sauce...YUM!
Dear Jason, how hard is it to ship fresh Mahi, mahi, snapper, grouper, pompano,or triggerfish????Have I told ya I love ya latly....Chuck
You're right, Jason. I grew up in Delaware, and I still miss my surf fishing.
lol Chuck, Ive shippied dozens of live stringrays up to a foot in diameter across this country. I think I can handle of few frozen fish!
A little cooler (Id actually probably use the same type of cooler for the live fish!) some dry ice and USPS priority service will get it fer sure!

I agree, they are going to have a hard time containing it. Good luck on your move. I didn't realize new hires for RN was down right now. My wife has been an RN for nearly 15 years, she works in the ER at Kosair Childrens Hospital.
Guys this is getting worse by the hour. A real dooms day scenario for the northern gulf.![]()
