Got to Moutardier ramp @ 0630, went straight to Braier Creek (sp?) and started working shoreline midway back creek. Water temps 67.5, clarity good. First keeper came on #5 Shad Rap (blck/chrm) working it parallel to bank in 3-4ft of water. Second keeper came on same scenario. Continued catching shorts till I caught my third keeper on same deal. Fished to the back of the creek and back out using same setup and managed a limit around 12lbs. Also hooked an ocassional crappie on the shad rap, keeper size but I threw them back. Bite slowed @ 1100, water temps 71.3.......headed home @1200 to pick up the daughter. Good day.

Last time I was there on a weekend, you had to wait in line to get back to brier to fish, I use to have it to myself, now everyone wants to fish it. Hey Doug, have my dads center console, need to get it out on the river to do some cat fishing!!!

LOL! Just playing with them for a little bit....I put them all back where I found them I sure wasn't alone, lots of boats back in there.
