We've been been fishing it late in the evenings up until about 11 at night. Throwing nothing but plastics on the main lake. One night we caught 15 with no keepers. Next time out we caught 2 with 1 nice keeper. Been catching them mostly shallow. Maybe the night we only caught 2 we shoulda tried deeper.

    Re: Taylorsville???

i like fishing T Ville in the early spring and fall. i have always caught fish every time. not saying that they are all big fish because most are 12, 13 inchers but every now and then i stick a few decent fish. ive always strated backwards out there if you think they should be shallow then fish deeper water and if you think they would be in deeper then go shallow. also the only baits i have ever thrown with steady luck is a simple Jig & Pig or plastic trailer , and t-rigged worms and crawls. always tried top water out there but never had any luck with that. always take the wife and son and they have a ball catching bluegill and sun fish. i enjoy fishing the lake and dislike the amount of traffic it gets. in the summer we usually will fish from night til morning due to the amount of traffic on the lake. another problem i think it has is SHAD,,, its got more shad in than anything else. hopefully the Blue Catfish and Hybrids can help take care of thinning that out in the future.
