nobody can give me any updates???
Was there this past weekend. Saturday we fished about two hours total and caught nada and then the storms ran us off the lake.
Sunday the iwind was blowing something feirce. My wife and I found a sheltered bank and fished for about two and a half hours down it. She caught a big bluegill and i caught a LM about 2.5 pounds. The lake came up about 6 inches from the rain between the days. Could be a great bite if the weather stabilizes and the water stays in the willows.
I am heading down Thursday nite. I will be fishing Friday and Saturday. I will post what's going on after I get off the water Friday nite if that helps.
All our keepers today were still on staging banks and points on N. Barkley.
Had a good trip to North Barkley over the weekend. All considering, the weather could have been much worse. Caught plenty of nonkeepers with a few nice keepers each day. A few close to 4 pounds with biggest being my partner's 5-10. Plenty of small fish shallow. Fish caught on variety of baits: spinnerbait, fluke, swimbait, shakeyheads, wacky worms, lizards, etc... We fished Thur to sunday morning with the toughest bite after the front passed through. I agree with Dave in that most of bigger fish were on lead in banks and points. Caught a few keepers that had red tails. Slower techniques produced the most bites.

thanks everyone. with the moon phase, ive got to think that between now and next wednesday a lot of them fish will move shallow. if not, i guess i will be fishing the lead in banks and points.
fishing partner has been there for 3 days and is covered up in 2 lb buckbass....hey by the way i know KY/Barkley are huge but there is a major tournament there this weekend and 2 smaller ones, good luck and watch the rockets.
