Greetings folks. Here's a note I sent to Bates Guide Service. They couldn't help because Jerry Morgan now owns/runs the business as Jerry Bates has retired.
Do any of you all have any photos as described below you could email to me?
Note below shows what I'm doing for a friend.

"I want to do a friend a special favor and provide a special gift. Gerry Bates may remember me as “Hurricane Bob”, so named by Walter Walters at Alligator 2 due to my frequent Striper fishing trips aboard my pontoon boat that inevitably including high winds, rain, hail, lightning, snow, sleet and/or tornado warnings.

My friend bought Jerry Bates old reliable 22 foot Red Crestliner (Buzzard and all....Patience my #$%$##$%). I was hoping to be able to provide him a couple framed pictures of the boat when it was new or near new, or even later in its guide service career. I think it would mean a lot to him as he respects the boats heritage and Jerry as the previous boat owner. Do you have any digital pictures you could email to me of the boat, or with Jerry in the boat, that I could then size and fit to frames for my friend. I know you’d want to get Jerry’s okay

I know this sounds weird. Its coming from a guy that can’t read a barometerJ. Feel free to call me at the number listed below to verify who I say I am. And of course would be glad to talk to Jerry if he’d be more comfortable doing so. I’m not that much of a weather man, but I’m honest. Well, I do exaggerate my fishing tales a little, but just for excitement!
