Fished The Renegade tourny sat. Water temps were 60 when we started on the main lake by 3:00 I found 65. caught a ton of Buck Bass. it took 17 or 18 pounds to win I'm not sure as i didn't stick around to see how bad I got my tail kicked. I had around 7 pounds. Caught all my fish on a shaky head. I fished all the creeks, and main lake and secondary points but I think the Majority of the bigger came out of the weeds on the flats. Water was stained to clear. If I were going to fish for numbers I'd pound the banks with soft plastics and crankbaits but if you want some better quality fish I would probably stick to Zilpo Flats and wherever the bigger weed beds are that seemed to be the ticket this past weekend. I would say the spawn is a good three weeks or so away, so just stick to the pre-spawn pattern. Good Luck. Report back.
