    Re: Arizona Immigration Law

I heard that it is almost word for word what the federal law says. So if that is true we will see where it goes.

Glad AZ is standing up. Its a federal problem, immigration, and feds are not really stopping the flow.

My idea, we need landmines and claymores at the base of the border walls on both sides. Bouncing betty's would be better. Why? Flow will not stop until the folks crossing the border sense its more dangerous and life threatening than doing it the right way. I think I'd declare war on Mexico, as it appears they are not stopping/deterring the "invasion of America". Having done so, the folks crossing the border become hostiles, and combatants. To save life and limb, the combatant border crossers can "surrender to proper authority", or risk being treat as committing a hostile act.

Seriously, why is this any different than what Sam Houston faced at the Alamo?

Yeah, I don't think it's going to fly either and definitely a wrong step in the right direction.

They have no civil liberties, they are not American citizens so they are not privy to any current protection under our constitution! They are criminals, period and something needs done, now rather than later.

The Indian's didn't have an imigration policy either. How did that work out for them?

I would like to see some really harsh penalties handed down to American citizens who help and abide the illegals...You all know darned good and well that when these people cross the border they're not coming here totally blind and without inside connections.

My grand parents entered through Ellis , every year they registered with the government as was requiered by the law.Why did they come? Gee thats a good quiestion. To work! Legaly,Their off springs lived through the depression, some of them have served in the military in all the wars, likeWW11, korea, viet nam, and now in the gulf.A few are doctors, some are teachers, nurses, policemen, and many are graduates of universitys, but the main thing is the grand parents followed the law, registered, and later became legal citizens with ho intention of ever going back to the old country. Their allegiance was to america, only.

I don't get involved in politics much, but I think AZ did a good thing with this one. I don't have a problem with anyone coming in this country legally. But if your here illegally you need to leave. I think more states need to do the same thing as AZ, have a backbone and stand up for us. But most politicans are crooks and will be compensated in some way for leaving things they way they are. Just my 2 cents.

Any group, or school that raises a flag higher than the american flag should first be shut down, the faculty fired, and the entire particapating student body deported regardless of citizen status.Employers of illegals who knowingly employ them publicly flogged, and denied legal compensation for the injurys recieved by the punishment. Did anyone visit the license bureau lately in some parts of KY, it states drivers tests will be taken in english only!!!And if this soungs cruel, hasta la vista pedro.

    Re: Arizona Immigration Law

A couple years ago I checked into being a working for the border patrol. The pay is not much considering the danger they face, they want you to move to any place along the mexico border, and they dont help you move or find a place to live. I didnt think that had much upside so I passed. I dont understand why they dont pay better and provide a little help, if they really want people do the job. Its like they dont really care if the illegals come in the country, mabe they use the border problem to keep the great people of the US divided so we forget about whats going on in D.C.
