nobama my arse! there are several countys in northern indiana, where the cinco de mayo is celebtasted more than the fourth of july. Just how did these illegals happen to find this promised land? They were brought here by recruiters, to work on commercial farms, do the commercial farms pay for the medicalexpenses? or the added cost of special education that needs to be byligual hold your breath. This makes my blood boil, going to a hospital for tests you need to wade through these free loaders, who in most cases dont pay a dime for the care they get. And the tax payers who foot the bill for buses to pick up these free loaders to educate them in spanish. Sure profile them, it makes sense to do that. When the illegal population reaches a point, then the cartels also get a foot hold.A zone, loaded with land mines, barbed wire and machine gun towers would work for me.Law breakers aid these migrants, false IDs phony drivers licenses, make believe insurance coverage, these are good times for those folks. And religious groups thaty will break the law, maybe they ought to read the book they profess to live by, it says render unto ceaser whick is ceasers, and the laws are ceasers. These turkeys were flooding into this country long before the last election, and the gov looked the other way. If,the federal government wont act, the states should hooray arizona

If you really want to fix the problem, then you have to fix the source of the problem: why folks want to come here illegaly in the first place. If companies keep hiring illegals and nothing is done about it, nothing will change. Same for folks helping to get them in the country. Gotta take care of these issues first. Anything else is just a bandaid approach to fixing an amputation.

    Re: Arizona Immigration Law

Andrew makes a good point but here's a caviat to that, which can be an issue. These illegals mainly Mexicans get fake ID's and paperwork with Social numbers that look and even check out legit sometimes. I know, I've been through it. You can call the Social Security office and try to check out their Social's as legit, and they will all but come to your work and slap you right upside your head. It's amazing how all these privacy laws protect the illegal wrong doing's in this country.

I hate illegal immigrants it's a BIG problem with healthcare, and many other policy failures in this country.

If it was up to me I would launch war on them.
Raids in the middle of the night at their dwellings. You could probably get 25 from one house as they pack together like rats to save money.
Stop them at the border, with lethal force if need be. When you stack enough of them up they will slow down I promise you. Take the money saved from taking care of them to support and pay for the officers to enforce the law.

Give them one and done policy. We catch you once you get a free tatoo on your forehead of a bullseye, color is bright pink. That is so if you try it again the border patrol snipers have something to level the cross hairs on, then slowly exhale and squeeze, problem solved. Do it enough and I promise they will slow down tremendously from coming.

If I ever see a Mexican flag hanging above our American flag I will stop what I'm doing and make an ass out of myself.

And yes, sorry I might be a redneck!

If those social security cards are as good as Mark says they are...then what I mentioned earlier is getting to be closer to the truth, which is in fact there had to have been some illegals actually make it to the polls and vote for Nobama.

I also agree with Andrew...the root of the problem needs to be addressed immediately with harsh penalties. Those people ain't hopping the fence totally blind and without aid from inside sources.

    Re: Arizona Immigration Law

We caught a Mexican red handed when he tried to regain employment with us after having been gone two years. I was going to hire him back as he was a food worker but I checked his new info against his old info in our folder we keep on former employees. I noticed his Social Security card was slightly differnt and his last name was spelled slightly different. I told him I couldn't hire him and I thought his SS card was bogus. He was leaving my office and I asked him where did you get that SS card?? He stares at me with a grin..... I ask again and tell him his secret is safe with me I'm just curious??

He tells me most of them get them in Chicago, where for 3 to 5 hundred dollars CASH they can get a SS card, Green card, and Drivers license from whatever state they want.
And buddy it looks legitimate to. Since then using some State government assistance I've been able to divert a couple but it's not fool proof by any means. As these Drivers License's will actually show in the system for given state, now what's that tell ya..............can you say Mofia?????
