Cave Run

Fishing that MSU Tourny this weekend on the Cave. Just wondering how many on here will be fishing it too? and If none of you are...hows about a report? I fished last weekend and have my own thoughts but was just wondering if anyone had been out there fishing and was on em and isn't fishing the tourny that would share whats goin on?...

I will be fishing it as well. Water has come up two feet since Sat. and they started opening up the release today. Core says they're not going to let it get much above summer pool but I look for it to be at least 6inches above. Could scatter some of those concentrated fish the guys on the flat have been catching. I'm sure it will still probably take 16-18lbs to win again though. Gonna be a lot of boats from the sound of things. The river is also a wild card. Not sure it will have had time to clear up by then which would unfortunately keep most folks out on the main lake.

yeah I guess with all the rain we had its gonna be up and probably muddy should like you say scatter the fish and maybe push em up on the banks...we'll see tho...I'll be in a silver 375 V Ranger with a Mercury optimax 150...we'll see ya out there.
