No matter what part of the work force you're in, private, public, government or otherwise, not to many folks can afford to be cut. It's usually never a good time for anyone who's being let go. But look on the brightside..."change" (I use the term loosely and by no means am I referencing Nobama)...any how, "change" is usually good. I look back through my own life and career and see that even though there were times that I was on shakey ground, all in all when everything was said and done, change ended up being good for me. Divorced my first wife, BAM good change....met my second wife, BAM good change...went from job #1 to #2 and #3, BAM, BAM, BAM...It was all change for the better. Right now Bobby you're definitely not in this boat by yourself. I myself am standing on shakey employment ground....I'm employed TODAY, but I can't say what the future holds for me 30 days down the road. This economy is NOT getting better, not that I can see anyway. I'm not saying it's getting any worse but I don't see it getting better yet either. Plus we all oughta know that after this economic slump we're in right now comes to a head and turns around, it will NOT be business as usual or like what it used to be. I sincerely believe this to be true.
Now to get a wise crack response in....pretty soon it won't matter if anyone gets laid off or not cause Nobama is gonna make sure we're taken care of with free healthcare and whatever other program he dreams up.
