We fished the river at Newburgh. Caught 9 stripers on bucktails and rattles. I didn't have time to run down to the green but my guess is they should be stacked up right there. Newburgh has them packed in there. They were busting all over the place. Seems the skipjacks are running too. I didn't have the time to try for any but a couple guys were just hammering them filling up coolers.
