Cedar Creek kayak report

Fished Friday from 8-6. Caught 12 bass, biggest being 17 inches. All fish were caught in the back of coves, jig and fluke were the baits of the day. Wind was so strong I'd paddle to a set of trees, tie off and fish them slow before moving on. The bite died during the middle of the day and then started back before we left. My buddy was bluegill fishing and caught 100+ with very few keepers, 2 small bass and 2 channel cats all in the back of coves. Saw bass chasing small minnows on the points but they were small fish.

sounds like you guys had a good time. that wind gets pretty nasty down there.
