    Re: Green river lake

As of the morning it's 22.5 feet over summer pool and still rising. I doubt if any ramps are open. The only ones that might be open is Lone Valley or Emerald Isle and I would be surprised if they are. Ramp one and all the others will be underwater at 15-18 feet over summer pool. I drove down to the lake earlier today and there is debris floating everywhere. There were debris clumps floating out there that looked like an island in the middle of the lake. I even saw a tree out in the middle that had to be 60 feet long and it stuck up at least 10 feet in the air. Time to get the jon boat out and fish the backwater.

Good luck. lots of stuff floating be careful. if you can find somewhere to put in fishing should be great. fish will follow the water here. main lake still looks good river and creek arms are trash.

Holmes bend is almost in the 2nd parking lot. Logs and debris everywhere. The highest water I have saw since 1997.

fished it yesterday and when we put in at 8am and it looked 17ft above. Put in from the road at state park and parked on high ground. Seen another guy park his trailer next to the ramp. We fished for about six hours with not even a smell.

The ramp with all the house boats had at least 4 or so cars submerged under water. Main lake looked great but about 4 bends from the bridge water turned pure mud. HUGE log jams were floating down the lake.

When we got back to the ramp after six hours of waisting time, the truck that parked by the ramp had water almost over its wheels. I would say the lake came up 3 feet in six hours. maybe give it a couple of days and it will be on fire in the grass, or you could end up fishing in a mud hole.
