I tell ya... i have the el cheapo frogg toggs i bought at Dicks a couple years ago. Paid $50 for the jacket and pants combo. They work really good for what i paid for them. They can handle a downpour better than they do a 10 hour day of light to moderate rain.

There should've been a class action lawsuit against Wally World for selling that FLW jacket as a rain suit. For me, it didn't work in ANY kind of rain. I took it back after its first use.
i got the pro qualifier bass pro suit back in the early spring and although it was too much money,it has been some of the best money i have ever spent.i really like it,and would buy it again in a heartbeat.very comfortable, dry even in a driving rain, and great for cold mornings.the hood makes a mask around the face, and it is great.
The money I spent on a 100 MPH suit is the best money I have spent on fishing. I am sure the Cabelas is good too. If you are going to be out in the weather you need a good suit. The other stuff is ok for pop up showers but if you plan on fishing in rain get a 100 MPH or guideware.
Im never gonna be doing 100mph so the frog toggs work great for me too
Bought the bps extreme 10 yrs ago and abuse it often. Still bone dry, shows very little wear zippers still work perfectly. They smell a little though last couple years. Well over $400 and worth it.
I got the bass pro shop pro quailifier. I love it it is alittle cheaper than the 100 mph and it also has a zipper in the front. I tried on the 100 mph bibs and there is a piece of neoprene sewn in the front . You have to take them down which means removing the jacket to go to the bathroom. In the pouring rain that is a pain.
I purchased my rainsuit from sportsmans warehouse during their going out of business sale. They are sterns bibs and jacket, they are like the bps 100mph suit. They will keep you dry in a hurricane. I only paid $125 for the entire suit and if you wait a couple months you can probably get them that cheap on there next going out of business sale.
i use bass pro gortex pack lite and pants. Store nice and flat little space Hood with viser, draw string with velcro to close up around face very pleased. Do get a little wet when running boat . Paid less than $150
only goretex and quality. save up and buy a cabelas guide gear or bass pro 100 mph gore tex rain suit. it will save you money in the long run to buy a quality rain suit and gore tex is guaranteed never to leak.
The bass pro 100mph is the best i have found. I used to use the frogg toggs but they ended up ripping in the crotch area, they worked ok for light showers, but the heavy down pours i got wet. The 100mph works great in all types of rain and keeps you warm when its cold out.
