there was just a small flow in the tail waters Thursday, not even enough to be turbulent.
just because the tape and cones are up at beaver creek boat ramp does not mean you cannot launch. they have that in place because it is the ramp that most people drive into the lake apparently not knowing it enters the water. beaver boat ramp has not been closed, at least via the operator at the core on thurs and friday. i asked why the cones were up as well thinking it must be closed and the operator gave me the above info.
hope this helps
You need to check again. There are barrels and huge orange barricade at the end of the parking lot where you turn into the ramp. I saw it yesterday.just because the tape and cones are up at beaver creek boat ramp does not mean you cannot launch. they have that in place because it is the ramp that most people drive into the lake apparently not knowing it enters the water. beaver boat ramp has not been closed, at least via the operator at the core on thurs and friday. i asked why the cones were up as well thinking it must be closed and the operator gave me the above info.

joel is correct. checked this am on my way in from work. as he stated there is now the huge orange closed due to high water barracade. looks like the trash has washed into the ramp area again as well. i hope this clears up soon as the fishing fever is killing me.
According to the Corps lake level site they are starting to crank up the dam output on Barren...And the dam at Green is open even more, but Rough and Nolin are not being pulled as hard, i guess because they arent as high. I hope this means they will continue to increase teh outflow and start drawing it down. I am hoping by next wednesday a ramp or two is open on 1 of the four green river lakes...

the sign on the orange barricade says High water ramp closed
maybe this will clear things up a bit
I saw a notice from the corps saying all ramps are closed except Baileys point(and it has very little parking) Don't think u could do much fishing anyway from the looks of the lake. It would be extremely dangerous right now.
anyone know if more ramps are open yet?
Not yet. I called the amry corps yesterday and Baileys is still the only ramp open.
Just curious, but why is the Narrows ramp closed? The water's not in that parking lot on top of that big hill is it?
with no turn around you will be backing around a curve. although some could do it most couldnt , so to keep the idiots from hurting them selves we all lose.
