Big thumping spinner bait, if their not pulling the water the fish will be between the bank and the flooded trees, if they are pulling the water the fish will be on the outside of the flooded trees! JMO

I agree with Gary. To take it further use large Colorado blades, hammered if you have some as they will put out more vibration. Use loud colors to. Bright chartruese even the blades chartruese sometimes, Orange, Reds, even Pinks, black and blue if these don't work.
Im a fan of Black and Blue Chatterbaits up close to cover or shallow as you can get. Won a Beaver Lake tourny doing this. We were the only ones who brought fish to the scales.
Don, Andrew was telling me how much you loved that chatterbait, I've got some I'm gonna have to give them some more time. I do like the vibration and thump they have.
Thanx guys, i wasnt even thinking of a chatterbait. I bet those will get them under these conditions also the big colorado spinnerbaits sound good too. Thanx again jc

flipping and pitching in flooded cover. Cranks and spinnerbaits in flooded grass.
