If you have never fished it now is not a good time to learn it. but it is very fishable right now, has good color, not alot of trash floating, they are not pulling it right now due to the Green river levels, but when they do then it will get trashy and muddier. Fished a tourney there Sat, the fish were scattered caught fish shallow and deep. It is a trip to catch a fish in someones backyard!. The bite was fickle Sat as the cold front had them messed up somewhat. It is mostly a flipping plactics bite at this time.Could not get a spinnerbait bite going and I guess the front shut down what little topwater bite was on. It is a long back down the State park ramp but you can launch there easy. Be safe.
