What a bunch of BS. To me it looks like Davis is just trying to divert the blame to someone else. It won't work, and being a magistrate, he's got to know that. Those customers didn't contract with Masiello, they contracted with Davis, and HE is the only one responsible for paying them back. Now Davis is trying to drag Dallas Stewart's name into it. I've known Dallas since he was an exercise rider in Wayne Lukas's barn, worked for him for a while, and he's a good man. I truly don't believe he would have anything to do with any shady dealings like this, and I KNOW he wouldn't need the money. Plus, like the article says, just because he's a trainer doesn't mean he automatically has tickets. If you're not saddling a horse in the Derby, those tickets are hard to get, doesn't matter who you are.
