Yes RoadToad, that is what I am wondering as I see such unrest in the States now. The Prime Minister takes a risk to dissolve Parliament and call an early election but it also shakes up the government too. It can either strengthen the current party in power or get voted out. Mr Harper almost did it again this winter to shake things up. If the Members of Parliament are not getting any work done and passing bills then he steps in. It seems to work and get them back on track and working for the people. Sorry to hear you have to wait it out until the next scheduled election. I dont see this President getting impeached. He did win the Nobel Prize.
