If your ever in Green River Lake area you'd be welcome to go with me. I live 10 minutes from the ramp and I fish a lot of evenings after work. I usually avoid Saturdays, to many jetskis and pleasure boaters.

thanks i might tke you up on that . i usually tried to night fish till early morn in the summer to try to avoid the pleasure boaters

A good trick for avoiding pleasure boats is fishing no ski zones...

sometimes while i'm fishing at night, I think most all boats are pleasure boaters, the way they jump around. some guys don't stay off plane, long enough to catch a fish. it makes me think they should have bought a runabout. instead of a bass boat. it's not that bad on cumberland, but on the smaller lakes. the runabout bass boats makes it rough to fish.
