    Ohio River

well the river has dropped tremendously in the last few days according to the number for the Lock & Dam and i was wondering if any one happened to see what it looked like today ? im guessing its still rolling mud but hoping it might have gotten a little better.

Up in the Markland pool, it's nothing but mud. Went down to check it out this evening...water level looks great, but is nothing but mud. Have no idea what the creeks look like as I didn't take the boat out.

On a side note, Jericho Lake looked like a mud puddle but there were people fishing it.

Friiday, 7 April, was at West Point, at Salt River access ramp. Salt River was up so high, there was only about 15 feet of the access road left. The water was within 7-10 of the box on the bank by the office where you pay the ramp fee. Out on the River side at West Point Park, the water was just 7-8 feet below the rip wrap at the parking lot. Much debris, some off it Lock Ness Monster sized. River totally mud, and very fast.
