I was fishing in Taylorsville Lake in Ky. Throwing a #5 shadrap up on the bank for bass. Made the cast and turned the reel about 3 times and wham...Fish hit like a ton...The fish immediately headed to deep water and and taking line like crazy. I set down to try and turn the fish and my line snaps in a heartbeat..... I use 15 to 20 lb flourocarbon line and constantly re-tie if i even think i got a nick in my line. No idea how big this fish was or wat it was...Jut know it snapped my line like it was a piece of thread....

That reminds me of the Mike Iaconelli video where the line snaps and he jumps out of the boat (Keeping one hand on the boat mind you), grabs the line, climbs back in the boat and pulls the fish in by hand.

That was awefully risky. he would have been DQ'ed for the day if he lost grip of the boat. It wasn't even a big fish.
