Hey guys I have never really fished Nolin when it is up and was wanting to know what I should probably be looking for with this high water... I have a tournament Sat and won't get to prefish so any advice would help.. Thanks in advance..
Corps finally letting some water out of nolin. I have a freind thats going down to fun fish this weekend and my advice to him was that they will continue to drop the lake and if they do the fish that had moved up into the flooded areas will probably back out if water levels are dropping. Water has dropped .07 since yesterday. I would fish the first structure away from the banks...stickups,emergent rocks, and on the rock walls at nolin if the water is going up the fish will too but if water is falling they will be deeper but still stay against the wall. Fish that frequent the rock walls only do 2 things according to water levels, weather etc. And thats move up or down the wall. Good luck, hope you catch a limit ! Later jc
