I did and it wouldn't suprise me a bit if this story was starting to grow some legs. I wouldn't count all those new recruits as gospel just yet boys, the plot thickens's, HMMMMMM.

Also heard a tape of Calapari the other day, where he said..

''I don't like horse racing and I don't like Bourbon either''

Run him off Cat fans, you can't have a coach of The Wildkittens saying that kinda stuff, lol.

ESPN has the same report. No quwstion I am a die hard UT fan, but after going thru what Kiffen did to the football program, I hope Cal stays. I dont want any program to have to go thru that crap. I hope Cal will be a man and do what he has said, stay at UK.

    Re: Coach Cal leaving???

MONEY and EGO, take your pick because either of them will make the best NCAA coaches try the NBA and both of them together FORGET ABOUT IT!!!

How many College Coaches does it take to make the jump to the NBA and Fail miserably before they will understand that there are "College Coaches" and "NBA Coaches" and it takes different talents to succeed in both. My bet is Phil Jackson would stink as a College Coach but one of the best ever NBA coaches. Talent is what it really takes in the NBA to win and coaching is secondary. When was the last time the NBA title went to the team with the second, third or forth best talent in the league and how many times has it happened? Bulls - Jordan and Pippen, Spurs - Duncan and David Robinson, Heat - Wade and Shaq, Lakers - Kobe and Shaq, Boston - Garnett, Pierce, Allen

Maybe the Pistons in 2003 did not have the best talent but that is questionable

Talent wins in the NBA over coaching, Talent and coaching wins in the NCAA

I think Kiffen has stepped into a hornets nest infested probation rehabilitation project and will get what he deserves..

But like I posted...There is a 4 sale sign in Cal's yard. It's 3/4 mile from my work place..He may just be one and done.....

NBA coaches don't even coach. They stroke and carress ego's. Manage minutes and break up gang fights in the locker room. I'd like to see what Phil Jackson's record would have been at somewhere like the Clippers or the Nets, lol.

Best players wins the game. You have to threaten to kill those preamadonna's, (spelling). to get them to play any thing that resembles defensive. And practice, lol, whatcha talkin bout practice, I mean practice, you wanna talk bout practice, lol.

Actually Calapari would make a good NBA coach, because that's what he does, stroke ego's manage people and minutes, give good sound bites. Because Lord knows he can't actually coach X's and 0's, that has been proven time and time again.

Chicago, Calapari, James, and maybe Big Cuz, and with one of his boyz already there it may be a match made in heaven.

Dangit Mark, you are right for the most part, but if you ever attend a NBA game, you will change your mind about the defnse they play. Drive to the rack and you better have a tooth missing to get a foul call. The defense when they pick up across half court is unreal and is far better than anything played in the college game. No offense here, but when you see these guys play in person there is no comparison. It is like watching the JV (college ball) and the varsity.

Also, I think Cal has learned a lot, but he was a terrible NBA coach with the Nets.

Yea, I know they will bring the hammer especially during the playoffs, but sometimes it's hard to tell anybody is playing D. Some teams are better than others though.
