    Shark in the ohio river

    http://www.wlwt.com/news/23552331/detail.html

Hmmmmmmm.......Jaws......"Shark goes in the water, man goes in the water"

Opry Mills Mall, beside the Cumberland River in Nashville, flooded last weekend. In the mall, at the lower end, is the Aquarium Restaurant with a 200,000 gallon salt water tank.....oppps, and yep they had some sharks in there. The restaurant sits lower than the rest of the mall, and the mall flooded. Its about 127 miles down stream to the Ohio at Smithland, about another 15 or so to Paducah down the Ohio, and about another 50 from Paducah to Olmsted, IL where the shark washed up. Call it about 180-200 river miles, and all down stream and figure the current, throw in some eddies, and......well, things that make you go.......hmmmmmmm.

I think I'll fish Nolin for a while

Re: Shark in the ohio river

Only Bull Sharks have ever shown the ability to live for any time in fresh water. So unless it was that particular species, whatever they were are all dead by now...
