Clear water at the mouth of Wolfe, wood in normal areas. Be careful!
I was down there from Thursday afternoon through Sunday early. Made two trips from Jamestown to Conley Bottom. Once you get about two miles upriver from Conley Bottom the water is really populated with debris. Most is small stuff that won't tear up your boat but there is plenty of major ones that will ruin your weekend/ summer. From Conley Bottom through the Beaver Creek area is much, much better but still the occasional big drifting log. None of those fast runs during the nightime hours fellas. They may be rare to see, but all it takes is one. Be careful.
Guys I was down there from Friday to Sunday (Jamestown). The creeks are stained and the main lake pockets are clear. The bass are hanging tight to the banks in the back of the creeks and pockets. We probley caught 50 bass in three days most of them short but every now and then you will pick up a keeper. Throw that buzz bait....All day
Thanks for the info guys. I hope to make it on the water tonight.
I fished for 12:30 AM until 4:30 AM about 1 mile back in the creek. 68 degree water temp and no trash (that I saw).
Very little shad activiy and blowups. I did get a few walleye bites and switched to a redfin around 2 AM. I had several hits, two hookups, but did not boat any. I may try it again tomorrow night toward the main lake.
Thunderstom, fish out by the mouth of Wolf Creek. We did pretty good there over the weekend. There were still some large sticks on the water, so use those lights. We heard someone hit a very large log in the middle of the lake last Thursday night. Good luck and be safe.
Thanks. I had planned to go out to the mouth, but just didn't make it out there. Sitll not sure about tonight. It all depends on the weather, but doesn't look good right now.
