    Good NBA Bball

The Magic lost but it's been alot of fun to watch. Did you seen Rondo? He is the man! Howard put the smack on Pierce down low but all it did was piss him off. Then he played better. Gonna be tough to win in Boston.

Its been hard finding time to watch NBA playoffs with the far more important Stanley Cup Playoffs going on. But have seen some nice highlight reels of the Celtics lookin pretty good.

Don, Boston will lay the smack on Orlando, it's gonna be a sweep.

Then I hope they beat up the Lakers and take their lunch money.

The Celtics are play unreal and Rondo has been the best player in the post season bar none. I am starting to believe that the Celtics can beat the Lakers again as they did a couple of years back.

Walker, don't hate on the NBA. March Madness is over, the JV squads are done, it is the varsity teams on the court now. Sit back and enjoy watching the best athletes on the planet in the NBA!

Things are certainly shaping up for a Laker/Celtic Finals. We'll see how Phx bounces back this evening, but the Lakers are playing strong ball right now and I think Phx just doesn't matchup to the Lakers. As a lifelong Laker's fan (dad lives out there and has had season tickets since the late 70's) I have seen every great player in the game play against the Lakers, and for the Lakers. I saw Jordan take it to them on many occasions, saw Kareem's last game, Magic's last game, I was there for the 85 and 87 Magic/Bird showdowns after losing to Boston in 84. Thus, my hatred of Boston runs deep into the depths of my blue-blood pumping heart. And, it's that Blue blood that gets me all flustered when Boston does well. As a UofK alum, how can I not root for Rondo? I mean, seriously. Conflicted isn't even close. In 2008 when it was evident that Gasol wasn't playing hard enough, the Celtics had too much emotion because they hadn't accomplished squat in 20 years (whereas the Lakers kept racking up rings), and they were playing with much more intent and purpose than the Lakers, I began to wish Rondo the best in hopes that one of my Wildcats would earn himself a ring. So, I can say that I was disappointed to lose to Boston, of all teams, but happy that Rondo got what he deserved (I could give two squirts of lemonade about Allen, Pierce, or head-case Garnett but ALL UofK Wildcats deserve NBA championship rings - in fact, they should be given one instead of a hat at the draft!) Where does that leaves us today? Hopefully with a chance at redemption for the Laker's because it's basically not in Phil's DNA to lose to a team twice in a row in the Finals. The Lakers may or may not even get there, and the Magic could turn it around on Boston (yeah, right!), but if they do and it is another gloried program matchup, watch out because the Laker's are lightyears better than any team Boston has played so far. Best case scenario for me is that Rondo get's his 2nd ring in a purple and gold uniform, and Cousins get's his 1st in a purple and gold uniform!

One more thing, if Van Gundy doesn't stop jocking JJ Reddick,I don't think I can watch the rest of that series. All Duke players should be stripped of their basic human rights, and handed a one-way ticket, no a bill for a one-way ticket to obscurity.

I hate it but it looks like Orlando is just not gonna get it done. They are good enough but they are rattled and it's a bad time for that. I'm holding on to some hope but the Celtics are playing great.

I'll be happy for any team that beats the Lakers.

You can say what you want about Reddick, but he deserves to be in the NBA and he's proving it in the post season.

Good god, man, you must like the Cardinals. I'm sorry. Again, what he or any Duke player deserves is a swift kick in the groin, not a Cardinal fan defending him, hell, that makes for two kicks just because one of ya'll has his back. LOL. How's he proving anything when they've lost and likely will lose, and if they do either, it won't have much to do with him. He proved he can run circles around Ray Allen's 46 year old body- woo-hoo. I'm sure you could get some shots up on Ray Allen.

So you are saying Reddick doesn't belong in the NBA? He made one mistake the whole game, but he scored 16 points, gathered five rebounds and dished out four assists.

Why don't you be the one to deliver the swift kicks in the groin to Reddick, Grant Hill, Carlos boozer and the other Duke players and let us know how that goes?

    "Good NBA Bball."

    Isn't that an oxymoron?
