    I have caught some 30+ pound Catfish out of the Ohio River using live shiners.... From what I have heard they prefer live bait.

    We were anchored above a small feeder creek below 18 mile island and cast about nine rods out. They were set to fan cast the back of the boat and varying distances behind the boat.

    We caught a 37lb Flathead on a limb line with a live shiner before on Nolin River. It was above the Bacon creek ramp...
