Green River Lake

I was planning to fish Friday 28th putting in at Lone Valley. Does anyone have a lake/ramp report? If you can get on the lake is there floats, I was hoping to fish into the night?

I fished last weekend and the lake was pretty clean. I saw a few floaters but nothing that would damage your boat. I put in at the state park with no problems. The water from the dam towards the river was pretty dirty. The cleanest water was around the north side of goat island.

I was there 2 days ago and you could launch then, albeit it was from the ramp approach and not the ramp itself. If the COE keeps dropping the lake level as they have been the last couple of days you should have no problem launching or loading. I'm not so confident in your prospects of catching any kind of gamefish though. The water is still putrid looking, the lake levels are dropping fast and there will be lots of boat traffic beginning about Friday noontime. Good luck to you all the same and watch out for floaters, there still some out there.
