Bluegrass 5/26

Man was it hot! Only 6 fish today. Biggest 19.5" and 4.3#. Water temps in the low 80's finally. Big fish on a deep diver off the rip rap. Rest were on worms and jigs in 10' or more of water. I bet I saw a million bluegil right off the weed edges around the whole lake. Tossed a fluke and swimbait along the edges but no takers. Caught a 7#+ cat under the turtle pole in the H on a trigger craw. There were a lot of people bank fishing just killing the gils. The south ramp on bluegrass has hundreds of gils on it. Easy pickin if you like to fish for them.

i didnt do so hot, threw a jig and only boated one fish, my son had one also. fishing deep drops. i saw alot of gills on the big ramp too

Ive been using the KVD Swim Jig from bass pro all week and have been killing the bass. I dont know why it took me so long to commit to the jig.
