Where do you think the term "soccer mom" came from? Soccer is pretty dang popular in the US, just not so much in KY...but in my book fishing > soccer, but in fiances world soccer > fishing (she played in college).

It is all about sponsorship dollars. If they could make money showing fishing, then I am sure they would continue to show it. Apparently, the sponsors are not receiving their return on investment so they are not willing to pay for those shows.

I read where ESPN is going to focus on live event coverage. That is why BASS is going to continue to be shown. But I also read that BASS is for sale, so that won't last long if ESPN sells it off.

I would be willing to bet that versus and the outdoor channel will pick up some of the shows and I hope zona's show is one of them. Someone posted they would like to beat charlie moore, isnt that what the shows about? O wait they meant BEAT charlie moore, sorry brain fart, I get it now....

Now that ESPN has basically ruined bassmaster mag, The sportsman society and the TV by constantly changeing cheaponing and rearranging it they want to dump it. BASS went down as soon as these guys bought them out.F2W

Just merge BASS and FLW since they fight over the same sponsors, save tons of money and then we will see who the best in the world is.

They need to set up a cage fishing bout between the two leagues. Two leagues enter, one league leaves.
