It is the VETERAN, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the VETERAN, not the campus organizer, who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is the VETERAN, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the VETERAN, not the politician, who has given us the right to vote.

It is the VETERAN who salutes the Flag.

It is the VETERAN who serves under the Flag.

ETERNAL REST GRANT THEM O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM.

Let us be extremely proud of our young men and women in the service, no matter where they serve. God bless and protect them all!

Now its just another long week end holiday, and they turned it into a memorial for all dead, which isn't all that.the VFW, and Legion put small american flags on vets grave in the cemetary where my step dad and uncles are buried. I personaly think the plastic flowers are tacky.That was one holiday they should never have moved.

I would like to thank all the veterans for what they have done for this country and the sacrifices they have made. Im not a veteran, I will go if I am called, but I support all of you for what you have done and what you are doing. This country has problems, but the veterans have done there part to make this nation great. THANK YOU ALL.
