State park ramp @ Barren?

Does anyone know if you can put in at the State Park yet?? Is the fish biting? Thought about going Monday morning. Thanks for the input.

the ramp is still closed. I was there yesterday , water still in the trees.

The only reason State ramp isnt open is because the jack leg thats got the Marina leased doesn't want it open. He hates fishermen and if he had it his way there would only be houseboats and pleasureboats. He is the reason its closed. This way he can cater to his clients who have slips rented. The lower parkinglot is under water and if the ramp was open the fisherman would be filling the upper lot so his clients wouldn't have anywhere to park. He's also got walnut creek. He had no intentions for the ramp there to be open but it is actually owned by Allen co. The County Judge had to get involved in it last week so it could be used. I'll be glad when someone else has the marina's leased. Just my opinion and I'm sticking to it. lol

at the rate they clean up ramps on barren, it will probably be december before it is open. december of 2015 that is.

Looks like they have done quite a bit of clean up at Beaver Creek Ramp but its still not open either and theres no Marina involved so maybe the corp has some reason why they still have them closed.

Just like 300zx said the guy at state dock is making the calls on it I met with the director of the parks three times she is listening to what he is saying about opening the ramp.
