when they do the search and rescue do they use a side imaging unit? there is a news report that several of the water patrol in some of the bigger citys are using si units now with great success. in some of the reports they even have local fishermen with the units voluenteer in the search and rescue. i hate hearing about accidents like this, as i personally know someone who had to wait several weeks until they found his body. he went overboard during an event called a poker run in a baja? type boat. the investigation was done well though as they were able to determine what happened. his boat had hit the wake of another boat and he struck his head on the back of the boat before going into the water. sad he did not have on a vest. but the family did at least get some closure when the body was discovered and they were able to have a funeral. prayers and thoughts to his family.
