DJ your right. we do need another viable party in our country. not that we dont have them at election time, its that they only run some one pony candidate, and draw off votes, like nader and his gadfly party. We had one guy run here several years ago as an independent, he won a county seat, then he ran as a repob. won, now he lost the primary.Yes I'm a democrat, but have voted for a lot of republicans,some of them almost did what trhey said they would, some didn't at all, same with some of the democrats I voted for. I once in awhile will go and check the congressional voting records, and see which MAN does my bidding.the only way we can over come this two paerty system, is with tax payer paid elections, and ban private large sum special funding, aint gonna happen. Next step would be mandatory term limits for every office, aint gonna happen. Its not so much the partys, its the special interests that have run this country into the ground, and they are not going to go away,why?
