The oil spill is over a month old, its not stopping, its spreading, and there isn't that much more that can be done. A lot is being made of the lively hood of the fisheermen, I feel sorry for them, but this is something that happens all the time. How many of those fishermen lost sleep over the thouisands of folks who lost their jobs and pensions in the steel industry? How about the auto workers who lost jobs to things they had no control over?Its the american way, The federal wet lands should be cleaned by the federal government, and bill BP for it. State areas should be cleaned by the states involved, let them battle BP in the courts.Private beaches and homes are covered by private insurancem let them handle it.I'm tired of folks who were flooded because they chose to live in risky areas,No one wants to take blame for their actions, blame it on someone else, and let someone else pay for it.Maybe we need to start teaching resposibility in first grade and continue it into doctorate studies.
