Can't really speak to the day bite. As for the night bite, cast a jig shallow on chunk rock points. There have been lots of bites but they seem to be less aggressive than the jerk the rod out of your hands or the strong thumps that we all love.

Going down to dale to do some night fishing for the first time. Fished it in the day light a few times but i heard alot about this night deal down there and would love to get some tips. What they are biteing and what type of banks? Also is there any type of day time bite?

just the chunk points or will the chunk banks do the best? Also how deep have they been?
Splash the bank with your jig. I like the points and really didn't look for chunk banks.
