laurel walleye bite

Does anyone know if the walleye bite at night is still on at laurel or cumberland was thinking about going sat. night.Was really wanting to go to cumberland as you have a chance of catching a striper too but with the boat races i dont know how crowded its going to be.Thanks

Not sure on Laurel, but plan on going tonight to find out! Have heard it's over and that it isn't yet????


As for crowds, going to be most places as this is FREE fishing w/e . I'd imagine that and the boat races would make LC even more crowded? (but don't know )

Can't say on the 'eye bite, we went and son caught a 3.25 pound rainbow and a 16 3/4" Ky bass! Both on cranks never seen the first 'eye though, even though that was what we were after..... but we could have not found the right spots or not been holding our mouth "right" or......
